April Community Events Schedule - 2024
Our Community Events for April are here! We have a huge range of titles, there's something for everyone this month with NSE.

Five events are lined up this month, including; CRL Worlds Pick'ems, 3v3 Rocket League Dropshot Cup, Genshin Impact newbie night, TFT Women and Non-Binary Cup and Animal Crossing Garden Design Competition!
CRL Worlds Pick'ems
Starts: Sunday 5th June, 10am BST
Ends: Sunday 5th June, 4pm BST
Open to: Students and alumni
With three NSE teams competing in the CRL World Championships, we thought it would be a great idea to create a little pick'ems bracket for a bit of friendly competition whilst watching the playoffs! The bracket will only go live Saturday eve or Sunday morning around 10am as teams will be finalised late the prior evening.

Rocket League 3v3 Dropshot Cup
Starts: Sunday 12th June, 5pm BST
Check-in closes: 4:30pm
Open to: Student teams, student/alumni teams & alumni only teams can enter, all players must have attended the same University.
The tournament will consist of a Bo3 Group Stage leading into Bo5 Single Elimination Play-Offs. (The format may change depending on the number of sign-ups)

1st Place - 3 x £10 Steam Gift Cards

Genshin Impact Newbie Night
Starts: Saturday 18th June, 7pm BST
Open to: Students
Inspired after the Genshin Impact UK Invitational? We're holding a Newbie Night to encourage brand new and inexperienced players to play with others around their skill level and also a few experienced guides to help show you the ropes!
To take part in the event join our Discord and give yourself the Genshin Impact role and join the Newbie night channel.

Women and Non-Binary: Teamfight Tactics Cup
Starts: Monday 20th June, 7pm BST
Open to: Women & Non-Binary students
Time to get competitive! Join our game night for women and non-binary members of the NSE community and test out your Teamfight Tactics skills.

Animal Crossing Garden Design Competition
Starts: Wednesday 1st June 00:00am BST
Ends: Sunday 26th June, 11:59pm BST
Another design challenge approaches this month, as we have an Animal Crossing garden design competition coming up. Open to both students and alumni, you will have the whole month to show us your best Alan Titchmarsh skills and send us a screenshot of your lovely garden by Sunday the 26th June.
These gardens will be judged by a professional Landscape Gardener (Jordy's dad). With winners being announced the following week!
