The Intel World Open: Path to Tokyo

Do you live and breathe Rocket League or Street Fighter V? Get ready for the Intel World Open: Path to Tokyo kicking off this month!

This international online tournament gives participants the chance to represent their region and an opportunity to secure part of the $250,000 prize pool for each game.

Players of any level are welcome to compete and registration opens on May 15th 2021. 

The Street Fighter competition will be played on Street Fighter V: Championship Edition on either PC or PS4. Rocket League is a 3v3 tournament, where your team must all be from the same region and can be played on any platform that supports the game.

 

Tournament format

There are three stages to the Intel World Open:

  1. Open Qualifiers - open to players of all levels, lasting two weeks players compete to make it to the next stage of Closed Qualifiers
  2. Closed Qualifiers- this is where the top teams will be selected to go to the last stage
  3. Regional Finals. -  go head to head against the best of the best for the title of Champion.
