SpecialEffect is a charity which offers people with disabilities the opportunity to have a better quality of life. They are the brains behind the Xbox Adaptive Controller.
As gamers, we would love to see a world where everyone can enjoy video games as much as we do.
We are going to be holding a mini convention in Reds Bar in Northumbria Students Union. There will be lots of consoles, PCs and competitions to play and enter provided by a wide range of supporters and sponsors! We will also have a lot of goodies to give away! All money raised through ticket sales for our convention will be going to SpecialEffect.
We will also be streaming show-matches against other university teams on our Twitch page, so be sure to tune in even if you can’t make our live event!
