Please note teams may be required to take additional sign up steps before tournament begins.
The Hearthstone Winter Championship will run for 7 weeks online with games each Monday followed by live finals in December.
Week 1-4 Swiss
8 Rounds of Swiss (2 per week). Qualification will be used to determine which division teams will play in for remainder of the tournament.
Week 5-6 Groups
Top 16 teams will advance to the Division One Playoffs 17-32 division 2. Playoffs will run as four double elimination groups each with 4 teams.
Week 7 Playoffs
Top 2 from each group will advance to single elimination playoffs for their respective divisions.
Tournament format is subject to change based on signup Numbers. Exact details to be confirmed once signups close.

1st - 3x £100 Game Store Credit
2nd - 3x £60 Game Store Credit
3rd - 3x £40 Game Store Credit
Rules Summary
All players must be current students of the same university
All games are played as a team of 3 with one player playing on the account with other 2 players spectating and advising either online or in person.
Teams may use any of the accounts registered by players and may swap accounts between games.
All Matches are Bo5 Conquest with 1 ban.
Teams must submit full decklists for 4 different classes. (Decks may be spread across teams battlenet accounts)
Teams may have 3 to 4 players. Teams may add/remove players from team between weeks.
If teams are more than 15 minutes late they will forfeit a match.
Check in deadline is 6:45pm. Teams who don't check in will not get games for that evening.
Offensive Battletags and Team names are not allowed.
Verbal abuse is not allowed. In particular any use of racist, sexist, homophobic or any other discriminatory language will lead to a minimum 3 week suspension.

Each week teams will play 2 bo5 Conquest matches with the exception on during playoffs teams may have to play a additional third match.
