The Hearthstone NSE Winter Championship will run for 5 weeks online with games each Monday.

Week 1-4 Swiss

8 Rounds of Swiss (2 per week). Qualification will be used to determine which division teams will play in for remainder of the tournament.

Week 5 Playoffs

Top 4/8 teams will progress to an elimination bracket.

In addition to other prizes this tournament awards British University Esports Championship Points.

RULES SUMMARY

  • All players must be current students from the same university. 
  • All games are played as a team of 3 with one player playing on the account with other 2 players spectating and advising either online or in person.
  • Teams may use any of the accounts registered by players and may swap accounts between games.
  • All games will be played using the following settings:
    • Standard decks
    • Bo5 Conquest with 1 ban.
  • Teams must submit full decklists for 4 different classes. (Decks may be spread across teams battle.net accounts)
  • Teams must have at least 3 players. Teams may add/remove players from team between weeks.
  • If teams are more than 15 minutes late they will forfeit a match.
  • Check-in deadline is 6:30pm. Teams who don't check-in will not get games for that evening.
  • Offensive Battletags and Team names are not allowed.
  • Verbal abuse is not allowed. In particular any use of racist, sexist, homophobic or any other discriminatory language will lead to a minimum 3-week suspension.
