1Hour Project: Industry Expert Guidance for Students

At 1Hour Project, we are here to help you launch your early career. We are a not-for-profit organisation designed to match students who are first in their family to go to university from low income backgrounds with industry experts to provide invaluable insights. 

We have an amazing group of industry experts from a huge range of sectors collectively donating over 5000 hours to help you if you are from a low income background and typically have limited access to professional networks. 

Whether you want advice on your chosen career and the best way to get into it, or you are looking to build your confidence, knowledge, or networks, the 1Hour Project can help. The 1Hour project connects you with up to three experts who can:

• Provide insights and demystify their profession
• Offer careers advice
• Provide access to professional networks
• Give valuable information to help you make informed decisions about your future

As a registered student, you will have access to all the benefits we can give you. This includes a short preparation toolkit, 1 hour conversations with up to three industry experts, and ongoing access to materials that explore and build your strengths.
