The British University Esports Championship Winter Finals starts this weekend! We've got a full weekend of games ahead, but kicking off with Friday, the CS:GO grand final is taking place.
RUSH BEE (University of Manchester) VS TEAM FOUR (University of Southampton)
After finishing top 8 in 2019/20 Manchester had a much weaker last season missing out on qualifying for Championship Bracket. However, since the beginning of this year, Rush Bee has proven themselves a team to be reckoned with beating last year's spring winners UWE Seastags and eventually taking first seed in the finals.
Originally formed in Spring 2020 as Southampton's fourth team, Team Four quickly exceeded expectations by becoming Southampton's strongest team. Since then Team Four has gone from strength to strength with progressively better results reaching the semifinals for the first time this Summer.
Since the beginning of the winter split, Team Four have looked strong but picked up two games in the Bo1 Stage. However, since the addition of Frosty to the roster for the quarterfinals, Team Four haven't dropped a map including beating SLUGSBLACK who they had previously lost to.
