Thinking about raising money for charity? We’ve reworked our charity initiative to benefit a wider range of causes and to help boost your fundraising efforts! NSE and Intel will now match funds raised up to £100 for a broad range of charities and causes.
For example, if your society raises £60, we’ll match £60. If you raise £100, we’ll match £100. If you raise £150, we’ll boost your fundraising with a £100 donation.
Societies can request this support once per winter and once per spring terms. This support will also be eligible for the first 50 societies. The application form can be filled in here or below.
After hearing student feedback, we’ve made this change so we can support a wider range of charities and causes. Previously, our charity initiative was based on jersey sales through Raven and donated only to SpecialEffect. Now, you can choose a charity that you and your society are most passionate about, including SpecialEffect.
The charity you choose must have a registered charity number. Charities that also endorse particular religious or political positions may not be eligible for support.
