At NSE we hire freelance admins to help us run our tournaments, and alongside our brilliant current admins, we've got two new faces joining the team this year! Here's a little bit about them:
League of Legends: Flora “seq” Gill
Flora is in her final year of neuroscience at Leeds University, and is currently on the committee for the Leeds Esports & Video games Society. She also has previous experience running tournaments for LoL pro players and content creators!

Axo is studying esports at Staffordshire University and loves the Multiversus scene - she wants to help the UK scene grow and see it prosper! She also owns the Reindog character discord.

CS:GO: Alex “Reed” Reed
Alex graduated with a Computer Science degree from the University of York. He has been a freelance Halo & CS:GO admin since 2018 and is the Founder the University Halo Chamber League. Reed previously worked at The Nuel for 5 years as a Senior CS:GO admin, helping to run Online & Lan events. He has been trying to pioneer Halo Esports within the UK&I University scene and working to bring players forward into the wider European Scene. Reed also likes to help out with LGBTQ+ related events and to support some of the more underrepresented groups get involved into UK&I Esports.

Finn is the current CS:GO Rep for the Nottingham GameSoc and also does admin work for UKIC, Epic.LAN, BLAST, and Faceit.

Dota 2: Jordan "Wishy" Betts
Jordan is a graduate from Swansea University who does part-time freelancing for Dota 2. He is the co-founder of UKValorant and has worked for NSE and ESL overseas for LAN events.

Overwatch: Matthew “Rinqed” Payne
He went to the University of Bath, currently works at Chess.com and is also in the top 200 chess players in the UK after having played for over 20 years. He is also a freelance tournament admin who's worked for multiple organisations including NSE, Insomnia, ESL UK, BEA on various titles, but mostly Overwatch.

Rainbow 6: Ollie “ozone” McFerran
Ollie is a Bangor University Alumni and the previous Esports Manager of the University's gaming society. He worked the Intel x NSE Tournament Stage at Insomnia 69 and was part of the Intel FutureGen 2022 cohort.

She is a second-year computer science student on her placement year at Loughborough University and also the Esports Coordinator for the Videogames and Esports Society.

Smash: Benjamin "Bengus" Allman
Ben recently graduated from the University of East Anglia with an actuarial science degree and has now started as an actuarial trainee. He is a very active member of the competitive Smash community by not only being a high-level player but also doing tournament operations and casting. He's also ranked #10 on the East of England Power Rankings.

Ben studied Maths and Music at Royal Holloway. More importantly though they were the president of the Games Society where they started getting involved in university esports! Ben is now studying Computer Science at UEA but will be running the TFT tournaments to let some other students win...

Valorant: Tom “Macphet” Macpherson
Tom went to De Montfort University and works as a Tournament Admin/Player Manager. He has worked on lots of great events over the years. He has been a part of the NSE team for over 3 years, so you probably know him if you’ve been in the community for a while.
