We are pleased to announce our partnership with Nintendo is continuing into Spring with the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate University Championship Spring Season. Last season we had hundreds of players compete online, at live regional events and then during our last chance qualifiers at our live finals in Nottingham. Durham University won both the singles and team events in Winter, can they pull it off again?
The Super Smash Bros. Ultimate University Championship will consist of a seven-week online circuit, which will contain three weeks of 3v3 team tournaments and four weeks of 1v1 singles tournaments. Sign-ups for the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate University Championship will open to UK university students via the NSE Championship portal on Monday 20th January.
On top of the stand-alone championship and with the support of Nintendo UK, we’ll be holding up to three Super Smash Bros. Ultimate regional university tournaments, which will accompany existing student regional events across the country. More details on the tournaments will be revealed soon.
