Summary

Welcome to the BUSR Assetto Corsa Competizione Summer Championship! This is a six-week long series starting on 3rd July with one event per week.

COMPETITORS MUST JOIN THE BUSR DISCORD IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE

Format: 

Qualifying: 15 minutes 

Endurance Race Format: 75 minutes with a required pit stop for tyres

Sprint Race Format: 1x 30 minutes and 1x 45 minutes races with a required pit stop for tyres

  • Registration and Eligibility: All competitors are eligible to compete in the GT3 class.
    Current students will be listed as ‘Pro’ drivers. University alumni will be listed as ‘Silver’ drivers.
  • Cars: All GT3 cars are eligible to be used. 
  • Custom Liveries:The use of custom liveries will be permitted. If a driver is to make a livery, it is advised to use an in-game custom livery as the base, to allow drivers who don’t choose to download liveries to recognise the car. 
    The deadline for liveries will be communicated in the BUSR Discord server. Liveries submitted after this time will not be added to the downloadable liveries folder, and will not be on stream 
  • Profanity, explicit content, political messages or any other content deemed inappropriate by the stewards are not allowed on liveries. 
  • All drivers must abide by the BUSR racing rules. (Please see the relevant section of the BUSR Discord server for more information)
  • Points Systems: Please see the SimGrid site for details. 1 additional point for the fastest lap
