The University FIFA Series is a one day tournament for FIFA 2023 (PS5). Exact format will be adjusted based on the final signup numbers.

RULES SUMMARY

  • All players must be current students.
  • All games will be played using PS5 version of Fifa 23
  • If Players are more than 15 minutes late they will forfeit the game 3-0.
  • Check-in deadline is 1:30pm. Teams who don't check-in will not get games for that evening.
  • Offensive player and team names are not allowed.
  • Verbal abuse is not allowed. In particular any use of racist, sexist, homophobic or any other discriminatory language will lead to a minimum 3-week suspension.
  • Game Settings
    • Game mode: Head to Head 1on1 (not FUT)
    • Match duration: 12 minutes (6 minutes per half)
    • Controls: Any
    • Game Speed: Normal
    • Squad Type: Online
    • In case of draw: Extra time and penalties if needed
  • Players are expected to uphold the NSE Code of Conduct whilst competing in this tournament

  • In the event of a player disconnecting, that player will forfeit the game (3-0). 

All decisions regarding the interpretation and enforcement of these rules is at the sole discretion of the NSE Admin Team, whose decisions are final.
These rules may be amended, changed or supplemented when required by the NSE Admin Team to ensure fair play and competitive integrity.

Schedule will change based on number of signups. For 16 or less players  we will run consist of a round robin groups followed by top 8 single elimination bracket. For 32+ players we will use a swiss bracket followed by top 8 single elimination bracket.
