Summary

Halo Infinite NSE Summer is open to both PC and Console players.

The Halo Infinite NSE Spring season will run over 4 weeks, with matches taking place every Sunday. Teams will play 3 bo3 matches a week and the tournament will use a modified Swiss format. After the first 3 weeks the Top 4 teams, will progress to playoffs.

For the first time ever, Alumni will be able to compete in NSE Summer. Teams can be a mix of Students and Alumni, all players must have attended the same University. If you need help setting up an alumni account fill in this form or contact alumni@nse.gg to setup a mixed team.

RULES SUMMARY

  • All players must be current students from the same university.
  • Mixed teams of Students and Alumni are allowed.
  • Players are permitted to participate using the Console of their choice via crossplay. Players are permitted to use either a controller or a keyboard and mouse provided that their chosen input device is compatible with the Console
  • Teams must have at least 4 players. Teams may add/remove players from team between weeks.
  • If teams are more than 20 minutes late they will forfeit match.
  • Check in deadline is 6:30pm. Teams who don't check in will not get games for that evening.
  • Offensive player and team names are not allowed.
  • Verbal abuse is not allowed. In particular any use of racist, sexist, homophobic or any other discriminatory language will lead to a minimum 3 week suspension.
  • The "home team" will choose to be Eagle or Cobra at the start of the match. This choice will apply to all games in the match.
  • All games will be played using official HCS settings that can be found in game (“Ranked: CTF”; “Ranked: Oddball”; “Ranked: Slayer”; “Ranked: CTF”). 

Maps and game modes played for each round will be predetermined by NSE staff. Maps and modes will be selected from following list of options:

Total number of rounds will be confirmed after week 1 with the number of additional rounds based on number of teams signed up.
